smp vs Tricopigmentation
In essence they are very much the same, in both techniques we implant pigment in the dermal layer of the skin in order to create the illusion of hair. The only difference between the two techniques is the longevity of the results. In Tricopigmentation we aim for the result to fade away after 2 – 4 years – with good reason; we want to provide an adaptable solution! As we age our appearance changes and a hairline created with permanent SMP 10 years ago, might not suit you anymore and may have to be lasered off. This can be an expensive and quite uncomfortable process. The name Tricopigmentation has now been adapted by the industry as the temporary / adaptable version of Scalp Micropigmentation.
