what is a level 4 qualification

Level 4 qualifications are the same equivalent as the Higher National Certificate (HNC), Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE), Level 4 BTEC, NVQ or Diploma. Having a level 4 qualification assures potential future clients that you have advanced credentials and qualifications to carry out semi-permanent treatments safely and effectively

What are the entry requirements?

You must hold a level 3 in Anatomy and Physiology OR Beauty Therapy. If you don’t have a level 3 in either of these we can offer you a level 3 Anatomy and Physiology course with ourselves (cost £495). You must be 18 or above.

the importance of level 4

Currently there are no regulations or legislations in place concerning Semi Permanent Makeup. Currently technicians throughout the UK can perform treatments without a Level 4 qualification. However Local Councils can set their own regulations within their districts regarding what qualifications practitioners need. Some councils and insurers insist that Semi Permanent Practitioners within their district should have a Level 4 qualification. It is possible for regulations to be adapted in the near future therefore a Level 4 will be a compulsory requirement.
